Alright, guys, you aren't going to believe some of these, so I'm going to post some pictures of the prices.

Succulents in a nice ceramic planter - $5
Any comments to confirm IDs on these would be great!!! I suspect that the two in the back are Pencil Cactus and Finger Jade (Gollum), but I have yet to come up with guesses for the other two.
LOST summer or fall of 2016. I purchased a plant last year that was infested (whitefly?...creates little white sacs in the elbows of plant stems) and this pot was near it, so I had to put it outside so the infestation wouldn't spread while I figured out what to do. Uultimately, I lost the plants in it. (I think because of temperature-related reasons, though--see Ponytail Palm for explanation.)
Bromeliad (probably some cultivar of Bromeliad Vriesa --please let me know if you know what it is!) - $1
This one survived well, but it was rather dull with it's perpetual spent flower (brown and paper-husk-like) and, to my understanding, it wasn't likely to ever have another bloom so, since it didn't have any pups and required purified (read: purchased) water from the store, I decided it wasn't worth the highly-desirable and rare high-light spot in my house, so I pitched it. I feel a little guilty about it, but I wanted to use that space for something a little prettier. I wish I had given it to someone who had more high-light areas in their home.
Ponytail Palm - $3
LOST Fall 2016. This loss was really sad. This plant was doing wonderfully until I overwatered it at one point and realized my mistake. The base felt slightly squishy all of a sudden one day; so I immediately put it outside, thinking that the wind/fresh air and a few extra hours of sunlight for a couple of weeks would help balance the moisture and prevent rot. Unfortunately, I kept procrastinating with bringing the outdoor plants inside (the unseasonably warm fall made it easy to justify leaving them outside) and we had a few nights where temperatures suddenly dipped low, which I think is what finally did it in.
Lucky Bamboo - $5
I had to pull out several stalks of bamboo that looked bad and I suspect there might be some root rot. I'll see if it comes around, but if I lose the plant(s), atleast I have a really pretty red planter and some rocks I can sanitize and reuse...I could see some air plants and/or succulents in there in the future if my bamboo dies.
Surprisingly, this one is holding on well as of early 2017. After a few weeks of being watered with tap water, I discovered that water softened with potassium chloride leaves a chalky residue at the base of the plant and might account for the 1-2 stems I lost. Otherwise, this one is doing extremely well--not what I expected, considering it was not in good shape when I purchased it.
