My toadlilies have been there for several years but are dwindling . I seem to have fewer and fewer each year . I think they may need more moisture than they get ? or they may just be short lived perennials.

Yes the colorful leaves are from a maple , but not a tree, a bush. My bush is about 15 years old and going strong Shrug! so far. I do prune it back every tear to keep it from overwhelming the landscape.
..a balanced life is worth pursuit.
