Big Grin I couldn't agree more, Char!!!

Well, Marilyn Morss Johnson has 1 scape. It is 13-14" tall, probably due to having it's foliage cut back and then shipped and transplanted in my raised bed recently. But this scape has 10 buds on it. The first 2 blooms were 7". I was quite pleased with that measurement. Ten buds/blooms is pretty impressive to me under the circumstances!

Zoe Allegra has 2 scapes about 12" tall with 4 buds/blooms on one scape and 5 buds/blooms on the other scape.

I think once both of these cultivars get established, they will be real show stoppers during bloom season. And I am sure the scapes will be much taller in the future, too.

I wished I had some way to save the pollen. I need to purchase some 1.5ml centrifuge tubes and a box to hold them in the freezer. I sure wish I had a way to save the pollen on both plants. Unfortunately, I only have 1 bud left to bloom on ZA and 8 more on MMJ.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, compared to what lies within us.
