Hmmm. Not my experience last year when I brought mine in. It lost a few leaves, but never lost more than 5 % or so. I kept it in my basement under fluorescent lights (12 on/12 off) at ~ 67 degrees. This year (as experiment) I will keep it in my Bedroom where it will get West window light.
