I love that I can read the comments by just hovering over tthe "?".

Low-value tweak to consider "some day". Enable some limited form of "leaving comments" on someone else's seeds.

For example, I was interested in @chelle 's "Altor" Asian Greens. Googled them. Apparently they are deeply divided, finely serrated dark green Mizuna (mustardy?) 40 DTM or 21 days to baby leaves. Brassica rapa (var nipponosica or japonica) somewhat like 'Kyona' but more finely serrated.

It's called "a hybrid of mizuna and kyona" by By Mark Mathew Braunstein in "Microgreen Garden: Indoor Grower's Guide to Gourmet Greens". This despite others' claims that 'Kyona' is B. juncea and 'Altor' is B. rapa. If true it would be an inter-species hybrid, which I think is possible with Brassica mustards.

The usual name kerfluffle among Brassicas. Some mizunas are B. rapa and others B. juncea . I THINK they do sometimes hybridize with each other, so it's the plants that make things complicated, not the taxonomists.

I'd have added that or at least a few words to their row ... but Dave is too smart for me. Now, instead, I'll go add that comment to the ATP Plant Database. Ohhh, nice red stems!

Mizuna (Brassica rapa 'Altor')

Oh, wow! I just cross-posted with MYSELF!
