My young yellow clivia got buried in the greenhouse somewhere by mistake during the plant protection frenzy over the weekend. Today I realized clivia needs a spell of cold temps in order to bloom. So I went hunting for it in the greenhouse. I *thought* I was organized in there. Apparently not! It wasn't in the first area I looked. It wasn't in the second place I looked. Did I feel silly when I called out, "Clivia, where are youuuu?!"? Not really. I knew she would show herself if I asked. And there she was, hiding between the hoyas and the Japanese/Holly fern. Now safely tucked away in the cooler unheated garage. I hope she blesses me with yellow flowers come spring for my efforts.
Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love Truly, Laugh
uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you Smile.
