If House were diagnosing this, he'd have everyone on the thread either in tears or a homicidal rage, and almost kill the plant four different ways to disprove three wild diagnoses.

We have enough regional accents that anything that isn't quite right just sounds like he must have spent part of his youth in some area I never lived in.

Someone claimed that many Brit shows will only hire Brit actors, so when they need to portray an American, they do it by dressing him in loud, clashing colors and giving him boorish, crude manners. So that we'll know he must be American!

I was told that in answer to my question "why does that actor seem to have a mouth full of pebbles and a suit cut from a horse-blanket?"
