I have two ornamental Quince and I have two neighbors that also have them. This Fall, I collected the fruit from all four plants. Most was fairly ripe, some had already ripened fully and fell to the ground. From all, I collected the fruit and today harvested the seed.

Most of it looked very good - some was still a bit too moist so I am going to allow to dry. I tossed maybe 10 % of the seeds which were rotten, very moldy or just otherwise junk.

Anyone grow this from seed?

I will be stratifying my seeds over probably 60 days and plant in February in my basement grow area.
