I love wildlife, and preventing abuse to all animals.
I volunteer at the Michigan Humane Society near my home.
I have 4 cats, all rescues, and a pure black German shepherd.
Feed the birds in winter and they hang out in my yard to enjoy the pond, plants and trees.
I have a Koi and Goldfish pond, aprox 3,500 gallons, I grow orchids and other tropicals in a plant room in my basement.
Photography is one of my favorite hobbies, 75% are botanical images. I have had images in Canadian Garden Magazine, a cover at Jardens magazine, a 2 page layout in Pond magazine and a few images in Fine Gardening Magazine.

I have perennials tucked into every inch of my yard, which actually helps keep weeds down.
I am married to my High School Sweetheart, we have 2 sons, 7 grandkids and 1 great-granddaughter.
I have also served as an Administrator/Editor at (another Garden Site) where I have over 22,000 images and added over 20,000 plants. I plan on sharing those photos and any plants needed here.
