I live on a farm in Queensland Australia and have quite a few hippeastrums growing, many in pots so I can bring them indoors while flowering as they are so beautiful to look at. I'm a school teacher, I also paint and draw, I have written some books (mainly about horses), have written and reported for Horse Talk TV, and I'm happy pottering around the garden with the hippies and roses (putting the by-product of horses to good use).
