I am a stay-at-home, disabled mother of 3. I was injured in a car accident involving a drunk driver in 2009. My knee (tibia plateau) and heel bone were crushed and my collarbone broken, all on my right side. After all those years, and many surgeries, the pain is still with me every single day. I try to keep in mind that I am extremely blessed to be able to walk, no matter how bad it may hurt. In addition to gardening, I find strength, comfort, and hope in Jesus, my Redeemer, who reminds me:
"Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
