I work 1:1 with special needs kids that have neurological and/or behavioral issues that makes being part of a classroom or community difficult at times. We tackle whatever needs must be met be it verbal, social, antecedent intervention. We also try to be a support for acedemic, SLP or OT services so the work can become generalized. Mostly it's just having fun with the kids and teaching them how to play and build friendships, and that learning can be fun as well. :)
