What is xeriscaping? Far from being 'zero-scaping', this method of landscaping reduces the need for supplemental water from irrigation. Learn how the selection of beautiful, drought-resistant plants-- especially the correct Texas natives-- that can lower your amount of maintenance, not to mention save money on your water bill. Along with showing you how the right plants are selected to make a thriving xeriscape garden, detailed will be water-saving techniques such as installing rain barrels and using bioswales or dry creeks.
