Calendar of Events: STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES: PLANT BREEDING AND CARE FOR ROSES

Event Date: Apr 11, 2019 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Humans have been growing roses for thousands of years; they've been used as medicine, currency, perfume and symbols of affection. Perhaps no other flower on Earth has reached the level of stardom as the rose has. Unfortunately, roses have a reputation of being difficult to care for. Let instructor Jonathan Windham put your mind at ease. His class will cover the origin of modern roses, how to hybridize them, rose cultivation and basic care. Cost: $15
