Calendar of Events: Growing Berries 101 - Grow Your Own, Nevada!

Learn the secrets of high desert gardening! The University of Nevada, Reno Extension is offering eight "Grow Your Own, Nevada!" classes statewide to help Nevadans who want to get on a path to more sustainable, local, healthy living by growing and preserving more of their own food. The workshops will provide gardeners and those interested in growing healthy foods with a "back-to-the-basics" guide to great harvests in the high deserts of Nevada. Classes will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays in April, from 6pm – 8pm (Pacific time) via Zoom only. In light of developments regarding COVID-19, this spring class series will be offered in an online format in lieu of in-person classes. Registration is free, but you MUST pre-register for these events. 6-8p PDT. Times are Pacific.
