Calendar of Events: Preserving Nature's Beauty: The Art of Herbaria - at the Charleston Museum

The Charleston Museum will display examples from its extensive herbarium collection and highlight their exquisite design elements. The exhibit will be an artistic look at these historic plant specimens and will explore the important contributions of botanists and amateur naturalists to Lowcountry natural history. Very interesting Jessie! I had never heard the word 'herbaria' before. I can just imagine how exciting your work must be and it is truly something to be proud of. Being from southern Indiana, I doubt that I will get a chance to visit the museum, but it sure has some nice exhibits I would like to see.

I loved reading your blurb about this exhibit! It's great to read a post for an event that has such a contagious enthusiasm about it! Congrats on such an important exhibit and I'm sure that herbalists making herbaria nowadays will appreciate their historical routes. Hurray!
