Fake or Real?
As an avid gardener my other hobbies include coin and antique pharmacy items.
My journey as a collector, leaves me amazed at the faux items that can deceive the most experienced numanacist and antique collector by replicas of what some consider "fools Gold".
The recent advancements in plant faux replication has some unique applications.
Keeping a plant alive in harsh environments be it particular to water demands, heat, cold and sunlight requirements can cause major frustrations. One of my favorite plant species, the ficus tree has been a battle that has often been lost. By reason of temperature changes, slight change in sunlight or planter upsizing, it seems this plant in my experience is extremely temperamental.
As most of you will probably agree, nothing artificial can ever take the place of a natural grown plant species. It will remain the gold standard of any home gardener.
Have I used some artificial plants in my home decor? Shamefully I must admit. The faux plant technology has become the last resort to some of the most dedicated home gardeners in America.
So gardner enthusiast, see if you can identify the real from the fake. The task requires visual acuity minus the fragrance of that which can not be artificially produced
I'll reveal the truth as to which plants or real or fake soon. For those who are impatient, message me for the answers.
Happy gardening !
