i have seedlings that are about 40 days old there growth is very slow they are under fluoresecnt light but i have been taking them outside and going back and forth so they get sun and artifical light could this be what is slowing down the growth, they are on a 24hr light cycle thanks for any help u can give

    That may depend more on what type of seedlings they are than anything else... common annuals grow quickly while perennials tend to grow slower the first year and take off the second year.
    Your seedings really might be better off outside at this time of year but will require watching to make sure they don't burn up in the heat and dry conditions.
