  • Last to the Buffet Line is a good garden plant here. Height and size as registered. Flowers open well and not crowded. Good number of scapes and a very decent bud count for my yard. I planted it in a row of lates, the last of course, but the problem is, it is not Very Late, or Late here. Midseason at best, and some years EM.
  • Fun Fact: We named this daylily for our favorite curry restaurant - Bukharaa in Johns Creek, Georgia.
  • Really appropriate name for this one!
  • This impressive patterned cultivar shows instant rebloom here in zone 7b, making for a really long season of daily blooms. It bloomed until August this year (2024). Flowers open well. It is pollen fertile and pod super-fertile, even in hot and dry conditions. Increase is good despite all that blooming and pod action.
  • Sky Dragon is a true red, with deeper blood red tones. It does not bleed in the rain and, occasionally, a bloom will open that has speckling on the petals reminiscent of Purple Cheetah or Trahlyta (though I do not see either of those in its lineage). With tall scapes, it presents very well in the mid-season garden and is quite visible at a distance.
