The official description does not accurately describe the bloom.

I believe that RHS97D is not lobelia-blue, but rather very pale purple, and the falls are indeed very pale purple.

My suggested alternate is: Showy laced flowers in pale-purple, yellow and gold. Very pale purple standards with light yellow ochre falls, veined and edged in gold. Beard is white, tipped in gold.

Tall Bearded iris Jane Phillips does not seem to have a registered height - for the record, my mature plants all come in around 91cm.

Talking about Species Iris (Iris fulva), ILPARW wrote:

This Copper Iris is native to swamps and wetlands of much of the South USA from southern Illinois & southeast Missouri & Kentucky down to east Texas to southern Georgia. It forms a colony by spreading rhizomes. It needs always moist to wet soils and can grow in up to 6 inches deep of water. It is a beardless and crestless Iris with sort of a flat top.

With regard to That's All Folks, dug at Longs, Boulder. My first year blooms are 6"! Enormous! I might be missing something, but I find it interesting bloom size. Is there a place to post that statistic?

Second question. On this website it states hybridizer as Marriott and Ghio? But on Marriott's site, I noticed only his name credited. Is there a controversy? Thank you for a super fun and helpful resource. Judy Denver
