I have lived in San Antonio since 1997 and have only had sucess planting radishes with about 20 bulbs per planting. Most of the time they come up in 3 days and grow only tops to about 4 inches. I have had my soil tested and have added many things to help root crop grow. My last planting in May produced 0 bulbs.

That sounds frustrating! Since you have had a soil test and many years of problems, I recommend you contact Texas A&M Bexar County Master Gardeners at 210-467-6575. They can gather details from you with a back and forth conversation. Our system isn't set up for back and forth emails, so I think calling the Master Gardeners will get to the bottom of the problem faster. Good luck!
