I have a slate patio with 1.5 - 2 inch gaps that I'd like to have something growing in. I'm in South Louisiana, the soil is clay and fairly well drained (if that's possible with this

You can use creeping thyme between the pavers. It takes the hot sun and clings to the ground so it shouldn't cause a tripping problem. Hope it's the perfect plant for between your pavers!
