|My trellised Star Jasmine vines are doing poorly. Some leaves turn yellow or red and then brown. There was minimal new growth in the spring but it has stopped now completely. Neighbors star jasmine seem to be doing fine. What can i do to help mine?

|I'd check first for insect problems. Spidermites can cause the symptoms you describe. Look for webbing where the leaves meet the stems. Fertilizer might also help. While it's important to keep your jasmine well watered, if the soil doesn't drain quickly the roots can sit in soggy soils and suffocate - which can also cause the symptoms you describe. You might also prune your jasmine back a bit to encourage healthy new growth. Hope these tips are helpful!
