weed killer killed my hydrangea - Knowledgebase Question

not sure what type I have. It was small woody sticks in the spring then bloomed pretty hot pink then bluish purple blooms. I used a weed b gone around it and it seems to have killed it from the flowers then the leaves then the new growth. Should I cut it back to theground an d hope it comes back?

Weed B Gon is a broadleaf weed killer and it can't tell whether the broadleaves are on a tree, a shrub, or a weed. I think that the plant will recover, though, because it has a large root system. I'd just prune it back and give it time to recover. I hope it greens up soon!
