A couple of months ago I planted a hibiscus tree. A few weeks ago the leaves began yellowing & falling off. There are buds. I don't see any 'creatures' on or near the tree (bush?). Thanks

Sounds like a little transplant shock to me. The first thing a stressed plant will do is drop its leaves. It's normal for the older, innermost leaves to turn yellow and drop off but they will be replaced with healthy new ones in a few weeks. As long as your hibiscus is getting adequate water and sunshine it will recover. Just be a little patient with it and once it establishes a good root system it will grow and bloom nicely. Enjoy!
