We have all kinds of weeds in the lawn. Should we dig it all up and lay new grass?

Lots of weeds often signals that the grass is not vigorous and healthy. You can try to get control of the weeds, but sometimes it is easier to start fresh, rid the space of weeds and prepare the soil with amendments before replanting grass to grow a healthier lawn. You might also consider renovating with groundcovers or other plants, which take less water and maintenance (mowing, fertilizing, aerating) in the long run. Good luck!
