I have a large spot in my garden for dafodils. This time of year its looks rather bad. I have tried planting annuals over the top, with little sucess. What Perennial could I plant on top of the dafodils that would look good after they have died back?

Trouble-free perennials include aster, catmint, coneflower, coreopsis, gaillardia, scabiosa and yarrow. If soil drainage is good, you might consider trying some annual herbs. But they don't like wet feet! Good luck!
