|My honeysuckel vine is not producing new growth. Up until this year it was very vigorous. Every few years I cut it back to reduce dead under growth, I did again this spring but its not growing back as usual. There's just small bunches of leaves on the ends of some branches with no change for weeks now. No new growth. What's up?

|I'd check for insects or fungus because after pruning your plant should have responded with vigorous growth. If you find nothing out of the ordinary you might try doing some root pruning - just sink your shovel down into the soil about 12 inches away from the main stems of the plant. Severing some of the roots in this fashion should shock it into growing. Hope this helps!
