I have a mature mimosa tree and some coming up of new. How do I treat them so they do not come back. I'm a believer in Brush Round Up. Should I cut it down and paint the stump(s)?

You can either dig it out or have someone do so, or grind it out with a stump grinder. You can also just keep using the Roundup knowing the plant will eventually run out of energy for regrowth or switch to another product such as something like Brush B Gone or Poison Ivy Killer. Follow product instructions exactly and good luck!
