Hampton Bays, Ne
|I planted two blueberry bushes last year. one took and the other just died. I understand that I need two bushes to make fruit. How do I know what kind to get to replace the dead one? Thank you.

|Blueberries produce better crops with a second plant in the neighborhood but your remaining plant should produce at least a few berries. You can take some of the berries into your cooperative extension office for identification or into a Master Gardener Clinic. Take them in as soon as they are ripe and harvested. They will be able to tell which type you are growing and can make a suggestion for a companion plant.
