Knockout Roses, Annuals - Knowledgebase Question

Our Knockouts are living but not thriving. They remain small and have few flowers. What do we need to do? Also-the petunias in my pots on my front porch are all dead. I watered them daily (100 plus degree heat here in the South) and they have done well in the past but not this year. They receive morning sun. What other annuals can I plant that are tolerant of the heat?
Thank you!

You can prune your Knock Out roses back to encourage healthy new growth and more flowers and feed them with a rose food. They will grow and bloom better if they have all day sunshine but they will grow in less sun ? they just won?t thrive. You may want to move them if they are not happy in their current landscape spots.
I?d plant lantana in the hanging baskets. These plants love the heat!
