Many of my plants with flowers do not stand up tall and fall over. I am wondering if you can tell me what may be causing this problem?

Some varieties simply have weaker stems than others and need to be staked, especially if it's at all windy in your garden. Another possiblity is a nutrient imbalance has caused them to have floppy stems. Or they may be overcrowded if they have been in the ground for 3-4 years and are competing for moisture or nutrients. If it's a new garden that hasn't had time to develop rich garden soil, I'd suggest working on soil improvement by adding lots of compost before every planting season. Good luck!
