We sodded our front lawn and watered it everyday for a month. Half of my lawn turned brown and we don't know why. What is your recommendation for repair?
Thank you,

If the sod died in spite of being well watered it probably did not root well. Unless it makes good contact with the soil the roots can die. See if it rooted by pulling up on the affected areas. If you can pull it up like a rug, it didn?t root ? perhaps because it wasn?t properly rolled after instillation or perhaps because of a low spot. You can remove the dead sod and either overseed the bare areas or cut plugs from the existing healthy sod and plant them in the bare areas. The plugs will eventually spread out and cover the areas. Best wishes with your lawn.
