|Purchased 6 Provence lavender-Planted 3 in ground-3 in containers -all in well draining sandy soil- In ground plants are doing OK but containers are not thriving-yellow leaves-no flowers-little growth-any ideas? Thanks

|The only difference I see is that the roots of the plants in containers are exposed to more heat than the roots of the plants in the ground. Containers can get hot when the sun shines on them - hot enough to bake the roots. Try grouping the pots together or placing a decorative rock or something to shield the exposed pots from hot sunshine. Hope this fixes the problem!
