What can I do to get fruit to grow on my banana tree.

Not all banana trees will develop fruit so there's no easy answer to your question. When it matures it will flower. If you see flowers, there's a possibility it will set fruit. There's nothing you need to do to help it along - if it is capable of setting fruit, it will. Hope yours is the type that can!
