zone 9b - inground geraniums not growing and inground arelia palms look awful. any suggestions?

I think the summer heat is taking a toll on your plants. The geraniums can be pinched or pruned back to encourage new growth; your palms can also be pruned back to remove unattractive foliage. When the weather cools this fall they should resume growth and look attractive again. Enjoy your garden!
