My indoor dracaena is 8 ft. tall. The bottom 5' has lost nearly all leaves. Top 3' look great. How can I save the plant top that looks good. Type is green leaf with 2 thin white stirpes.

You can cut the top from your plant and repot it. It will develop roots and you'll end up with a shorter plant. You can then cut the bare stem of the original plant down to about 6" from the soil surface. It will sprout new leaves. The bare stem that's left can be cut into 4" pieces and rooted in moistened potting soil. You can end up with a dozen new plants instead of a single tall, gangly one.
