Planted lambs ear last year and divided it twice. This year it got a tall spikey flower and the leaves are much smaller and not as good looking. In Illinois I never had this happen with the spikey flowers .. what can I do? |
Lamb's ear will flower when you have a long hot summer. The summer weather in Georgia is much warmer and for a longer period of time than the summer in Illinois. You can keep it from flowering if you pinch out the flower stalk as soon as you see it begining to develop. |
