hydranga - Knowledgebase Question

my hydranga is fairly big however it doesn't bloom
it is near a pine tree gets about 2 hours of sun a day. I know a relative who had one and it did quite well in shade does it need more sun?

Although hydrangea will take shade, most varieties need at least 4 hours of sun to bloom. Sorry I don't have better news!
