Fruit drop is common, as the trees set far more fruit than they can bare to maturity. They drop pea-size to golf-ball-size fruit around June. Fruit drop can be worsed by hot weather and high winds. Citrus trees usually take several years or more to develop a consistent fruit crop and young trees often drop the fruit. As long as you water and feed your citrus tree, it should be fine. Good luck!
