I received a bouquet of sunflowers. They are really pretty and I would like to plant them in a pot for my patio (I live in an apartment). Will they survive in a pot?

If by bouquet you mean cut flowers, they won't survive. If your bouquet was a plant, it's already blooming. Sunflowers are annuals, plants whose life cycle (vegetative growth, bloom, seed set) is completed in a single growing season. The plant dies at the end of the cycle and a new generation begins with seed germination. So, it won't survive either. However, sunflowers are easy to grow from seed. You might try it yourself!
