My day lilies are increased. When and how should I divide? Or should I say how to transplant? I also want to know how to divide my hosta.
Thanks

You can dig and divide your daylilies in the spring or in the fall by digging the plant and cutting through the rootmass. As long as each division has both roots and leaves attached, it will grow into a new plant. The same process can be used for your hostas.
