I like planting Cerinthe major 'Blue Kiwi'. I start it by seed every year. I would like to plant it in a container - can you make some suggestions for plants that would look good in a pot with this particular plant? |
The dusky color of Cerinthe would make a nice contrast with many of the colorful Coleus varieties available, especially if you find one that picks up some of the purple tones of the cerinthe flowers. Some of the orange flowered varieties of calibrachoa (million bells), such as 'Crackling Fire' or 'Dreamsicle' would make a stunning contrast, as would the trailing golden moneywort (Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea). |
