The two most likely culprits that are causing wormy peaches are the plum curculio and the Oriental fruit moth. Both of these insects can be controlled with a Home Orchard Spray, available at garden stores. Follow the spray schedule on the label. You will need to start spraying in the spring and continue according to the schedule to prevent damage later in the season. Once the worms are inside the fruits, there is nothing you can do to kill them. Be sure to pick up and destroy all fallen fruit to reduce the number of insects next year.
