blossom end rot - Knowledgebase Question

I planted my squash & cucumbers in a pot to avoid blossom end rot. But, the fruit starts then withers away. I thing I water enough but not too much. Any suggestions

Poor pollination can be the cause, especially early in the season. You may only need to wait for your plants to mature a little before they will set fruit. Just remove the dead fruits from the plants and wait for a new set of blossoms.
