My original 8 strawberry plants are now 100 plants and spreading. I need to contain them in some form of raised bed. Any suggestions? |
Any type of raised bed will certainly help control the spreading growth of your strawberry plants. Stone works well and has a nice appearance. If you use wood, be sure NOT to use outdoor chemically treated lumber, not good for any vegetable or strawberry garden. I don't know how large an area you need, but a raised garden bed with 80% garden soil 10% peat and 10% compost mixture should do the trick. I'm happy to see that the plants are doing well for you.
