I have two passionfloras next to each other. One is being eaten by frillarys caterpillars. Why don't they eat the other passionflora too?

Good question! Mainly because the mother butterfly laid her eggs on only one of your passion flower plants and not the other. The caterpillars will feed on the host plant and not move to other plants in the garden. Mother knows best!
