In many gardens I have seen extra large impatiens that almost look like bushes. (They are over 3 feet tall). Mine only grow a few inches, despite fertilizers. How can I get mine to look like that?

Impatiens grow in a range of sizes depending on the variety you select. Members of the "Dazzler" series, for instance, only grow about eight inches tall while "African Queen" runs about 24 inches in the garden. You might ask which variety they are growing. In any case, to get the best from your plants, remember that impatiens do best with warm temperatures, a rich soil well amended with organic matter, and plenty of moisture. Good luck with your plants!
