|To be honest, the best place to start is with a soil test and an analysis of what is already growing in the pasture. Then you can decide what to do based on some hard information. This is important because different grasses can have different nutrient and mowing requirements. Your County Extension (264-8722) should be able to help you with the soil tests, interpreting the results and suggesting appropriate steps. Good luck with your pasture!
