Neighborhood pets can sometimes be discouraged with a well placed sprinkler that you turn on whenever they are in the area. Yellowing leaves on your roses can indicate overwater or might be a symptom of a fungal disease. The neem oil based product called Rose Defense can help. Be sure to apply according to label directions.
